CHEESE BOARD

£15.00

Selection of British Cheeses served with Celery, Fruit Bread, Biscuits and Chutney

Yorkshire Blue
Made from 100% Yorkshire cow’s milk, this is a mild, soft and creamy blue veined cheese. The traditional recipe has been developed to give the cheese a unique buttery, yet sweet flavour, with no sharp bite. Carefully hand turned weekly during maturity, gives this unique veining and creamy smooth texture.

Winterdale
Winterdale Shaw is a cheddar style cheese, with a mature rind and a slightly shiny surface. The cheese has a buttery creamy texture with a well balanced salt level. Well matured, even at 10 months with a robust, fruity tang and earthy, savoury like notes that linger pleasantly.

Waterloo
This cheese is soft, rich and creamy, made from unpasteurised cow’s milk. Produced in Berkshire on the Duke of Wellington Estate by Ann Wigmore. This cheese is suitable for vegetarians.

Oxford Isis
Washed in honey mead, this semi-soft cows’ milk cheese has a velvety consistency and pungent, oral flavour.

Ashlynn
This goat cheese has a dark ash-coated rind and thin line of charcoal running through its centre, a spear of lemony sharpness pierces the richness with a tingle of spice.
