Pastry Chef required for our Ongar Restaurant. The food is prepared and served to exceptional standard and the quality of the ingredients is high. The restaurant also prides itself on exceptional service with a relaxed atmosphere.
We are looking for a pastry chef to join this established brigade. You will be working directly with the head chef to create excellent dishes and to help during the service.
Hours will be worked out on a rota basis Monday to Sunday. Salary £19,000-£23,000 depending on experience with 28 days annual holiday.
You must be able to display a passion and commitment about quality produce and to creating dynamic dishes.

- Will have experience working in a high quality restaurant and will have worked to high volume in a large kitchen.

- Seat guests
- Take orders for food and drinks

- Have a varied food and wine knowledge coupled with a “hands on” approach.
We are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 years experience in a high volume restaurant. Previous experience with a similar cuisine will be beneficial, however not necessary.
