Our restaurants are located in Ongar Essex (just off the A414) and Wapping in central London (near Tower Bridge) and both maintain a sense of style, flair and comfort.
With well balanced menus, an extensive wine list and informed front of house staff, we can help you with your choice and provide recommendations for complimentary dishes and wines we feel will suit your palette. For those with a less nautical sense of taste we also provide some fabulous steaks, Barbary duck and Roast English Lamb. The only problem you may have at Smith’s is being spoiled for choice.
Stephen Bard our Executive Head Chef has a wealth of experience and expertise, he previously trained at Scotts Restaurant in Mayfair and was then appointed Head Chef at Sheekeys in Covent Garden. He has now been with Smith’s for eight years and oversees both our menus and the preparation of dishes served to our customers.

Both of our restaurants are passionate about the environment and promote methods of sustainability across their menus. We work closely with small fishing communities with much of our seafood sourced from day boat catches and delivered daily.
Our Master fishmongers then expertly prepare the fish onsite. For these reasons we are confident that the fish you receive is of the highest quality available.
